Buying a Machinery
Buying a quality machine at reasonable price is what we are always good at, but what is meant by Quality?
Quality in simple terms means any thing that customers percieves as valuable or excellent product in terms of reasonable price, product durability, After Sales Service, Spares and how well the customer care of the organisation is, etc.
SO WHY BUY A MACHINERY?
In the ancient times everything was done manually, with labour bieng the most expensive and more intensive in any business, but now even Startups & Corporates can enjoy the benefit of technology to their advantage, Saving Time, Effort and Money
And this is where machinery comes in, Machines are tools or apparatus that allows humans to perform a particular task with relative ease. In our Scenario, for Example: A continuous band Sealer machine will save half the time it takes to seal compared to a hand impulse sealer. 1000-1500 : 500-800 bags/hour.(Band Sealer to hand Sealer ratio)
SO WHAT ARE THE RULES FOR BUYING A MACHINERY?
KNOW YOUR CAPACITY - LETS SAY YOU ARE A STRATUP AND WANT TO SEAL/PACK 100 PACKETS OF PRE FILLED POUCH PER DAY, YOU PURCHASE A CONTINUOUS BAND SEALER WHICH WILL DO THE WORK BEAUTIFULLY AND YOU ARE HAPPY ABOUT THE QUALITY SEALINGS, TIME SAVED EFFORT ETC. WHILE THAT MAY BE GOOD HOWEVER IT WONT BE A GOOD RETURN ON INVESTMENT FOR A LONG TIME AS YOU ARE PURCHASING A HEAVY DUTY MACHINE WHICH IS COSTLY TO BE IN A STARTUP
YOU SHOULD IDEALLY START WITH A HAND IMPULSE SEALER WHICH IS 10X CHEAPER THAN A BAND SEALER AND STILL DO THE JOB.
HOWEVER IF YOU ARE A BIG BUSINESS OR CORPORATE AND YOU VALUE THE BENIFITS OF BIGGER MACHINERY THAN THE RECOMMENDED MACHINES WHICH IS LACKING THOSE ADVANTAGES THEN GO AHEAD FULL STEAM I SAY!
