KNOW YOUR CAPACITY - LETS SAY YOU ARE A STRATUP AND WANT TO SEAL/PACK 100 PACKETS OF PRE FILLED POUCH PER DAY, YOU PURCHASE A CONTINUOUS BAND SEALER WHICH WILL DO THE WORK BEAUTIFULLY AND YOU ARE  HAPPY ABOUT THE QUALITY SEALINGS, TIME SAVED EFFORT ETC. WHILE THAT MAY BE GOOD HOWEVER IT WONT BE A GOOD RETURN ON INVESTMENT FOR A LONG TIME AS YOU ARE PURCHASING A HEAVY DUTY MACHINE WHICH IS COSTLY TO BE IN A STARTUP

YOU SHOULD IDEALLY START WITH A HAND IMPULSE SEALER WHICH IS 10X CHEAPER THAN A BAND SEALER AND STILL DO THE JOB.

HOWEVER IF YOU ARE A BIG BUSINESS OR CORPORATE AND YOU VALUE THE BENIFITS OF BIGGER MACHINERY THAN THE RECOMMENDED MACHINES WHICH IS LACKING THOSE ADVANTAGES THEN GO AHEAD FULL STEAM I SAY!
